Music is divine and has the power to evoke our feelings, to take us somewhere we have never been or cant even imagine. I have always carried with me a passion for music - be it listening to music or singing .. But all of a sudden, I developed an intense desire to create this music blog and to podcast a few songs sung in my own voice.
I am sure most of you agree with me, that some songs are so closely coupled and associated with an artist that it's just not worth trying to reinvent or even try to reproduce them. And even if one did, it will never give the kind of life and soul they had in their original version.
I strongly believe that there are only a few such artists who fall under the category of ONE AND ONLY.
Here, I have attempted to sing a few of the songs of the voices and people that fascinate me..

Tribute to Dr.RajKumar

A very few people have often impressed and influenced me.. In the world of music and films, I believe there can be one and only one Dr.Rajkumar, Kishore Kumar and Lata. Gems are very rare to be found and processed very often.
Dr.Rajkumar is a legendary Kannada actor and according to me, he is an icon who can never ever be replaced by anybody in the film industry - across states and languages . This section is a small tribute to the legendary Rajkumar. I have recorded a few lines of songs, which I think are his best... This section will soon be upgraded.
The first Song is "Srikantha Vishakanta". It is truly a masterpiece considering the intensity with which he has sung the song. My honest attempt in singing this song.
